Northwest Seattle at a glance

Northwest Seattle is separated from downtown by Lake Union and encompasses many popular neighborhoods with thriving restaurants, nightlife, and more. Northwest Seattle also borders the Puget Sound and has the luxury of multiple public beachfront parks such as Golden Gardens and Carkeek Park. The neighborhoods of NW Seattle are very walkable and have easy access to transit. Most neighborhoods have their own hub of shopping, restaurants and grocery. 

NW Seattle is also dappled with parks, mostly along the Puget Sound beaches but also within the neighborhoods are playgrounds, park and off-leash dog parks. The farther North you get offers a bit more space and starts to feel more suburban and less urban.

The homes are a mix of craftsman, mid-century modern, bungalows, condos and townhomes. The closer neighborhoods to the city such as Ballard and Fremont have had an influx of new condos to offer city living with the added amenities.
